Panama - Housing New Zealand Volume build

Project details:

Construction of 37 houses totaling over 4000m2 of internal floor area. This project consisted of a mixture of house types from two bedroom duplex’s to 4 bedroom wheelchair accessible homes. We completed this project in approximately 12 Months.

We believe the following factors were beneficial to a successful delivery of this project:

• Accurate scheduling of trades and deliveries - Having multiple builds at different phases of construction means it is critical each trade manages their resources across the site and sticks to schedule, delays can snowball out of control easily.

• Regular quality assurance checks - The last thing anybody wants is a huge snag list at the end of the job, keeping up regular checks will ensure you maintain a high level of quality through out the build. Things left unchecked can be expensive and time consuming to fix at the end.

• Maintaining good health and safety practices - We hold weekly tool box talks as well as doing regular site checks to make sure everyone is going home every night in one piece! Its extremely important everyone on the team plays their part and raises any questions and concerns about site activity.
